Famed Actor Makes Shootout Debut

Basil HoffmanIf you haven't seen Basil Hoffman, well, you've either been in a coma for the past few decades, or you haven't watched television or been to a movie theater in a while. The famed character actor will make his Duke City Shootout debut this year as the lead in the drama The Bakers Road Killing by Jarvis Rooker and produced by Jerry Angelo.


You'll recognize Mr. Hoffman from such film classics as Communion, The Milagro Beanfield War, All of Me, My Favorite Year, Night Shift, Ordinary People, Comes a Horseman, and The Electric Horseman. He also had cameo appearances in All the President's Men, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Lady Liberty and At Long Last Love, among others. His TV resume include appearances on Columbo, The Practice, Seinfeld, The Twilight Zone, M*A*S*H*, Dynasty, Sanford and Son, The West Wing and Kojak. He also had recurring roles on Square Pegs and Hill Street Blues.
