Digital Bootcamp Marches On

Got an itch to find out what the film industry is all about? Well, the venerable Duke City Shootout Digital Bootcamp is back for its ninth year. This is the place where scores of folks now working in the industry got their introduction to the movies. Learn from the pros and you too might become part of the growing list of former students now busy at high-paying jobs. All classes are free and open to the public. There's no registration, just show up at the location designated. Read on to see the complete schedule.



WEDNESDAY 7/16

SUNDAY 7/20:
Grip Basics and Set Lighting
1-5 PM Ted Chavez Hall, Room 101 at CNM

Basics of Makeup combined with Art Direction
6-10 PM Ted Chavez Hall, Room 101 at CNM

MONDAY 7/21:
Still Photography for Films
2-5 PM Ted Chavez Hall, Room 101 at CNM

Script Supervision combined with Assistant Directing
6-10 PM Ted Chavez Hall, Room 101 at CNM

TUESDAY 7/22
Digital Workflow (Restricted to DCS Camera Operators, DPs and Editors)
2-5 PM Big Byte, 123 Central NW (Enter from northeast corner of the building)

Digital Videography combined with Location Sound Recording
6-10 PM Ted Chavez Hall, Room 101 at CNM

FRIDAY 7/25:
Duke City Shootout Orientation (for all cast and crew)
