Actress Angie Torres Dies
The Duke City Shootout sends its condolences to the family of Angie Torres, one of Albuquerque's most beloved actresses. Angie died June 5 at the age of 88 after suffering a stroke. Angie appeared in scores of local theater productions and had character roles in nearly 20 films, including All The Pretty Horses, The Missing and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. She starred in the Shootout's production of 101 Days in the 2001 competition.
