| Story: The Sugar, the Redbull, the Mints and the Mixer |
|
Michael Palombo… "My first DCS was horrible and I quit on the 3rd day, I was so mad. I later realized it was the sugar and redbull that everybody was living on, that had a lot to do with everybody's madness. Filmmaking was really new to me at the time, so I've since learned to manage my blood sugar a little better when on set all day(:" DCS…"And on top of the sugar and Redbull, how about those little caffeinated mints that Intel donated a few years running?!" Alora Haaf… "yeah!! the meth mints were awesome. got me through those 24 hr days that i'm not supposed to talk about. I remember when our second sound guy couldnt' come any more, so i was loaded down with a portable mixer, a boom, two headphones and loads and loads of wires. I looked like a pointy tesla coil. Or how about that bathroom scene with 6 ppl, all those lights and the steam from the bath and fog machine. yeesh. so much fun. speaking of madness, when's the next shootout?" Michael Palombo…"the mints! how could I forget the mints..." DCS... "24 hour days?! No, nope, no way, nuh huh. Although there was that time on the Big I in the middle of the night - who wants to fess up to that one?" Alora Haaf... "of course not! and don't worry.. all those murders were staged. this is MOVIES." |
